Privacy Policy
Effective 19 July 2026 · Applies to Fewer for iPhone and Apple Watch
Fewer collects nothing. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything the app knows stays on your devices and in your personal iCloud, which we cannot read.
What Fewer stores, and where
The drinks you log, your saved drink list, evening plans, dry stretches, and the morning reports Fewer computes are stored on your device and synced through your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit. That database belongs to your Apple Account; the developer has no access to it and no copy of it.
Apple Health
With your permission, Fewer reads sleep, sleeping heart rate, heart rate variability, and body weight from Apple Health to compare your mornings against your own dry-night baseline, and writes your logged drinks to Health's alcohol record so your data stays portable. All Health processing happens on your device. Health data never leaves it through Fewer, and is never used for advertising or shared with anyone.
What Fewer never does
- No accounts, sign-ins, or profiles
- No servers of ours; nothing is uploaded to us
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind
- No third-party code or SDKs
- No location access
- No selling or sharing of data, because we never have it
The App Store privacy label for Fewer reads Data Not Collected.
Purchases
Fewer Pro is bought through Apple. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store under Apple's privacy policy; Fewer only learns whether the purchase is active, never who you are or how you paid.
Your data, your control
You can export everything Fewer has recorded as files you own from Settings > Export, and delete everything from Settings > Delete all data. Deleting the app removes its local data; drinks written to Apple Health remain yours, under your control in the Health app, and iCloud copies are removed by turning Fewer off under your device's iCloud settings.
Children
Fewer is an alcohol moderation tool for adults of legal drinking age and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear here with a new effective date. Since Fewer collects nothing, changes can only make that promise more specific.
